Exciting sailing in a country with 15,000 kilometers of coastline, 1,400 islands and countless inlets, atolls, hidden coves and reefs. Stand anywhere on the nation’s mainland and you are within 100 kilometers of the sea. To truly experience Greece’s majestic land and seascapes, take a sailing yacht and equip it with bicycles.

We have created the ideal land/sea combination through our own 25 meter (82 feet) traditional wooden motor sailer, the Apollon, laden with adventure “toys” — bikes, fishing gear, snorkeling gear and sea kayaks on request. We call the Apollon an “artisanal yacht” because it was handmade by our team of skilled artisans and welders using fine African wood. This type of yacht is also known as a gulet.

With our fleet of Specialized bicycles you have the choice of road bikes or hybrid bikes, drop handlebars or flat bars, 27 gears, carbon fiber fork for road bikes and front suspension for hybrids. We also offer electric bikes to enable all riders to cycle together regardless of ability. Guests can pedal around harbor towns or go deep inland with a guide to quiet villages and archaic sights.

The yacht is available for groups only, such as families or a group of friends. The beauty of Sail & Cycle tours is that non-riders are welcome. While riders are pedaling inland, non-riders will be relaxing on a choice beach, strolling port villages with shops and cafes or visiting historic sites.

You can vary the three cruise itineraries listed below or we can create a custom cruise suitable to your group’s profile. If you are not experienced sailors or are traveling with youngsters, we recommend the calm waters of the Argo Saronic Gulf. If your party consists of seasoned sailors, you will love the high seas of the Cyclades.
