OUR GEAR

For multi-day tours, all riders receive a helmet, water bottles, odometer, large handlebar pouch, road maps, cue sheets and a beautiful CycleGreece jersey with short sleeves and rear pockets.  In addition, self-guided bikers also receive a GPS device Oregon 450 with programmed routes, mobile phone with programmed numbers, hand pump, patch kit and multi-tool.   Rear racks are available on request.  The bikes have regular pedals with toe clips available on request.  Clients may bring clipless pedals and their own pedals and shoes.

CYCLEGREECE JERSEY

The jersey is locally made. It has back pockets and short sleeves.

HELMETS

The Drag brand helmets are unisex with size adjustable by back knob. The helmet has snap-fit visor and holes for ventilation. Weight 310 grams or 10 ounces. We also have helmets for youngsters.

CYCLEGREECE WATER BOTTLES

Our water bottles are 500 ml, a translucent bottle with company logo. The bicycles have two cages for two water bottles.

CYCLEGREECE  BACKPACK

On arrival you are given various items including a bike jersey and trip folder. These items are contained in a lightweight backpack with company logo measuring 17” x 13” or 43cm x 33cm

REGULAR SADDLE

The Velo Plush bike saddle is seven inches wide at the rear and eleven inches long. The seat is durable and comfortable for a long ride.

RACING SADDLE

Riva is the Specialized brand’s men’s racing saddle with lightweight foam padding for comfort and efficiency. Its patented Body Geometry design is lab tested to assure blood flow to sensitive arteries.

 

HANDLEBAR BAG

The Nashbar handlebar bag is quite spacious: 11” x 7” x 7” or 28cm x 17.70cm x 17.70 cm. For self-guided riders, it can hold all necessary bike gear including a small hand pump. A front pocket also holds gear. The bag can be easily detached from the bike and has a carrying handle.

HANDLEBAR POUCH

The Novaro pouch is about one-third the size of the Nashbar bag: 8.7 x 6 x 3 inches or 22cm x 15cm x 7.6cm. It has a window for cue sheets. It attaches to the handlebar by Velcro. It is lightweight and handy for the basics – cellphone, wallet, snacks.

GPS DEVICE

Self-guided riders are given one GPS device with the cost of their tour. It is an Oregon 450 with a Greece map in which we program the tour routes. The Garmin comes with a bike mount.

CUE SHEET HOLDER

Every rider gets a cue sheet holder that attaches by Velcro to the front of the handlebars.  It has a plastic window visible on the front and back to see cue sheets on both sides.   It is 6” x 6” or 15.20cm x 15.20 cm.
